@stayontheporch TCGM offers a sneak peek behind the scenes at an Exhibition which is a love letter to the ordinary colored girl For A Time Like This #First Time Ever I Saw Your Face # Harriet and The Girls #ordinaryextraordinary Dear Us: You were the rim of the worldits beginning. Primary. In the first shadow the new sun threw, you carried inside you all there was of startled and startling life. And you were there to do it when the things of the world needed words. Before you were named, you were already naming. Toni Morrison

@stayontheporch#aPsalmforBreonnaTaylor#foratimelikethis Gloria didn’t give a damn what you said about her. She wasn’t impressed with King, Kennedy or anybody else. She considered herself to be as good as these guys were, if not better, Ladner said. Gloria was a card. If you had Gloria on your side, you didn’t need anybody else.
