Villanova's LALSA will be joining Temple's LALSA to support Al Otro Lado (AOL) with ticket purchases for dinner at El Fuego in Washington Square Park! This FRID...AY! AOL is the only bi-national organization offering free legal services on the California-Mexico border. They serve an average of 80 to 100 asylum seekers per day. AOL has also filed dozens of civil rights/civil liberties complaints to protect the rights of the most vulnerable. Join us to support AOL & to hang out with LALSAs from the Philly area The legal director of Al Otro Lado's Border Rights Project, Nicole Ramos (Temple Law '07) will be speaking about her work at the border at Temple on March 18, 2019 and at Villanova on March 19, 2019.
