Captured an assassin bug in action! These guys are fascinating... although it is curious to me why he is hoarding bees here? I understood they kill bad bugs in the garden but poor honeybee on the left there! Fact: assassin bugs are terrestrial ambush predators. Sounds cool, Huh?

Important announcement! I will be mowing down our dahlia field this weekend. Despite all the beauty still happening we have to chug along in order to store the dahlia tubers before major cold hits.
