The wax melt down! Our hard wax is filled to the brim in the pot, then melted totally down. Following the melt down we then set the temperature to 55 degrees. 55 degrees is the perfect temperature to set the wax to for the wax not to feel too hot on the skin. ... Hard wax typically feels warmer to the skin then soft wax, so we always place the wax in front of a fan before we apply it to the skin. We also prep the skin by cleansing skin with Calm Down a cucumber toner to remove any bacteria, oils and debris on skin. Then we apply cornstarch powder to protect skin further more by creating a barrier between your skin and wax. The skin is stretched taught before the pull providing more of a pain free approach, and pressure applied after the pull. Relax oil (a sweet almond oil) is an anti inflammatory and anti bacterial oil that is applied post wax to soothe the skin and remove any wax residue left. Calm Down (cucumber) Toner is also applied to remove oil and to further calm and hydrate skin post wax. #wax #waxing
