Hello! We are passing along a research opportunity: Researchers in the Department of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania are seeking current Penn State students and recent graduates to participate in a research study about student experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic. The title of this study is Covid-19: The Impact on College Students, and the principal investigator is Dr. Wendy Roth. The purpose of this research is to understand how students from various backg...rounds and universities have been affected by the pandemic, and how they are dealing with it. If you agree to join the study, your participation will involve: 1. One in-depth virtual interview, expected to last between one and two hours 2. Completion of a post-interview survey, expected to last less than 10 minutes. Students who participate in this project can receive up to $25. Participants will receive $15 for completing an interview and $10 for completing the post-interview survey. Congratulations to our very own BC Communications member, Eddie Richardson, on winning the FIRST EVER UPUA Chair for the Black Caucus and the Black community Obtaining a seat in the UPUA has been a fight our predecessors have spent years trying to win. Today, history was made as we nominated our first ever chair holder. Sending our love and support to our committee member, we are beyond proud and cannot wait for all the great things he will do for our community
