The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is playing a key role in supporting response efforts to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Mesivta seniors at AIPAC with Senator Pat Toomey

We are pleased to announce that our Model Beis Din team -- under the incredibly dedicated and talented leadership of Rabbi Ephraim Goldfein and Dr. David Weiss -- has tied for first place in the Model Beis Din competition held today at Lander College for Men! This is their third straight year in first place, this year sharing the title with TABC. This year's exciting topic was: Programming Autonomous Cars: Facing the Ethical Dilemmas Other winners included TABC sharing the f...irst place honor, Ohr Yisrael of Boston taking second place, and DRS taking third place. We are very proud of our talmidim who did so well in this year's competition. We express our tremendous gratitude for the countless hours of learning and training given to them by their coach rebbeim. We are having a great Chanukah here at the Mesivta! We started off with our Pre-Chanukah Mesiba with Dovid Gabay, continued this week with Divrei Torah by the students, singing and our exciting annual Dreidel competition! We also held our annual Yom Iyun yesterday which included a special breakfast father/son learning and we got to hear from our guest speaker Rabbi Kestenbaum!
