The Pines Senior Living

Due to COVID-19 the Alzheimer's "Walk for a Cure" is done "in everyone's backyard" instead of as a large gathering. It is therefore we did our "walk to find a cure" yesterday, in the beautiful sunny weather. Everyone enjoyed themselves, got some fresh air, exercise and we're treated to a little Manning's ice cream!

A wonderful outside visit today by our dear friend and Presidential Expert, Dr. Larry Cook. Today we learned about all of these amazing Presidents... Eisenhower, J.F.Kennedy, LBJ, Nixon & Ford. As always, a wonderful presentation with a wealth of great information! Thank you for coming Dr. Cook!

As the summer ends, The Pines' family would like to thank the Pallman Families again for supplying fresh corn for our residents. Some of our residents remember Dutch and Leona - everyone enjoyed this generational treat. Pictured are 5th generation Pallman family members at the Farm market. Also pictured, The Pines Chef, Rick Thompson with our first resident/another generation farmer (Lor-El Farm) who gave the corn her seal of approval.... Thank you!!!
