PUPDATE: Kane (fka Woody) was adopted on June 21, 2015. Kane’s family says at first he was extremely shy and fearful of all humans. Luckily, their one-year old boxer, Khloe, took him under her wing to show him the ropes. With Khloe being an overly loving and needy boxer, Kane began to see that they would love and not hurt him. Over the years he’s been adapting and growing and becoming a mama’s boy. At 75lbs, his family says he is part deer because he runs and jumps with ease. He loves to be pet by the family and especially loves his family’s 2-year-old grandson. They are best buddies. He is sweet and loving; just wanting to sit by you/on you like a lapdog. His family says they are so happy that he came into their lives and like to think he feels the same #wetnosewednesday @ Wet Nose Rescue

#pupdate! Samson was adopted on June 8th, 2017 He loves the water, chasing balls, playing with his friends and cousins, and sleeping. He also really loves dressing up...ok maybe not...but his mom and dad really love doing it! He's even made a television appearance! Samson came with just one eye, but it hasn't stopped him from living a full, happy life. He is the quirkiest, cuddliest, happiest boy, and brings joy to everyone who knows him. Samson had a sister that was up for adoption as well, his mom believes she had an all black coat and from South Carolina. If you are interested in having your dog featured in our Wet Nose Wednesday post send a message to us! @ Wet Nose Rescue

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM KIM: Hi Everyone, I am reaching out to all of you for help. M.A.M.A.S. shelter in Bamberg SC is in trouble. They do not have enough food to feed the dogs at the shelter. This is the shelter most of our dogs come from and if you are an adopter, there is a good chance this is where your baby came from. MAMAS is a good shelter, they take very good care of all the dogs and puppies they work with, they are just poor. If you are able to have a bag of dog f...ood, adult or puppy it would be a great help and help to fill some hungry bellies. Food can be sent through Chewy, Amazon, or whatever source you want. The address for shipping is: MAMAS Animal Shelter 254 Slow Pitch Road Bamberg, SC 29003 Thank you to all who are able to help, this is our village! Hug your fur baby, Kim Please make sure you select the list's address to MAMAS Animal Shelter. It is included in the list. They will accept ANY dog food. We will add a few more options for food to be sent. ANY little bit counts. Thank you so much in advance.

Blessing your timeline with a #pupdate on this Wet Nose Wednesday! Palmer (fka Carmella/Chili) is a Plott Hound Mix who was adopted from Wet Nose in August 2014. Her family says Palmer has been become an AMAZING big sister to her adopted brother/ sister. She enjoys running on the beach and swimming in the ocean/ bay. When not asleep on the couch or bed, she loves chasing squirrels and "chuck it" balls thru local parks. Without her, her family says they would not have been able to get into fostering other adoptable pups. On the same day they adopted Palmer, she had (5) other siblings that arrived from South Carolina with her... they would somehow love to see how they are doing! if you would like to be featured in a Wet Nose Wednesday post please send us your favorite puppy pics along with a description of your dog! @ Wet Nose Rescue
