Our LASIK Ambassador Sarah had this to say one week post-op.... "It’s been one week since my LASIK surgery and my recovery has been so easy! Not putting contacts in is by far my favorite part. It’s so weird to me at night that I don’t have to take contacts out. I love being able to see without them though. On my ride home I couldn’t believe that I could already actually see fairly well. Prior to surgery my biggest concern was honestly to take the Valium they prescribe, so I... didn’t take it lol. And I made no mistake being so relaxed about the procedure because it was a piece of cake. As of today, I feel great and can’t wait to be all healed up. My eyes are still bloodshot so if you see me and think my eyes look weird, that’s why I still get really nervous with things around my eyes. I finally wore makeup for the first time yesterday which is progress to me. Before my LASIK procedure I didn’t realize the recovery would be so easy just like they told me. I did everything I wanted to over Memorial Day weekend, and it was great that it didn’t stop me from enjoying such a beautiful holiday weekend."
