The Customer Service Representative (CSR) reports directly to the Program Supervisor. Responsibilities include taking transportation trip reservations and cancellations for the residents of Montgomery County who are receiving services through various County and State agencies. The CSR is an important link between the TransNet office and our consumers. This position is responsible for ensuring that all trip information is accurately entered into TransNet’s specialized transpor...tation software program. Comprehensive training for this position is provided. Specific duties include but are not limited to: Working hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday Entering all relevant trip request data into the transportation software program and communicating appropriate information to consumers Verifying consumer eligibility Communicating with subcontractors as needed Reviewing the trip information for accuracy Entering eligible client registration data into the transportation software program Communicating with medical service providers to verify the accuracy of trip destination information Interacting with other TransNet staff as needed Other related duties Qualifications: Effective communication and interpersonal skills Excellent telephone and customer service skills Related employment experience Ability to handle calls efficiently Full-time position with salary and comprehensive benefit package
