We love our First Responder guests! The Laurel Highlands is that perfect getaway! #mountainlife

We close down Turning Leaf Lodge for improvements each January (also so we can enjoy it). We try to do something to this popular getaway that we will enjoy but also something guests will appreciate. This year it was central heat and a/c with a remote monitoring thermostat (which I am loving). Boy, this ramshackle, little batchelor pad has come a long way, baby! :)

Final leaf blow of the season! Just in time before snow tonight and our Thanksgiving guests. Thank goodness for my backpack blower!

Wow! I can not wait to watch Steelers game on Hi Def and super fast Internet this Fall! I remember when Turning Leaf Lodge had 3 channels! it! Until Fall enjoy it guests!!

After 20 years (and lots of professional cleanings) it was time to say goodbye to carpet in our Living Room/Nook area! We still have a few more updates to finish out the 2019 remodel season but happy with the change!
