The community came together in Bedford, Pennsylvania and The Wall That Heals had a wonderful week. Thank you to everyone who visited the exhibit! We had a great... take down crew who helped pack up the exhibit. We also want to thank Don from Regency Transportation for hauling us out of Bedford. Over the past few days, I have had the humble privilege to capture images of The Wall That Heals events in Bedford, PA. Accolades are due the community organize...rs/sponsors, countless volunteers, and all Veterans who helped make this special event such a memorable experience. To our Vietnam Veterans - Welcome Home, and Thank You for Your Service.

Today, at 10 a.m., we will be holding a ceremony at The Wall That Heals to honor all Vietnam Veterans who served. The Bedford County Honor Guard will be there with the National Anthem and music played by Route 869. You will hear from local Vietnam Veteran and author Larry Garlock, Vietnam Veteran Jim Harsock, and others including the invocation and benediction by Pastor Deb Decker. We encourage you to come to attend this historic event. Help us honor all Vietnam veterans.

Calling on any able bodied individuals that would like to take part in disassembling The Wall That Heals are invited to join our group on Sunday, July 26 at 2PM at The Bedford District Track. We will welcome any young adults, fire companies, sports teams, church groups etc. Please post a comment here or send a PM. Thank you!

Make some time to see The Wall That Heals! Today The Wall will stand at the Bedford School District Track/Athletic Facility on 440 East Watson Street in Bedford. Admission is Free so make sure to bring the whole family. All are invited to attend and the wall will be available for visitors for 24 hours a day until it closes on Sunday at 2 p.m. We hope you can come honor the veterans who lost their lives during the Vietnam War.

Thank you so much for all the volunteers who came out in the rain on July 22nd to help us with The Wall That Heals Bedford County! The Wall has been assembled at the Bedford District Track and will be open to the public on July 23rd for 24 hours a day until Sunday, July 26th at 2 p.m. Thank you everyone!
