Marine Corps League Upper Darby Detachment hosts drive-thru toy collection The Upper Darby Detachment of the Marine Corps League #884 will hold a toy collection, Sunday, Dec. 6, from noon to 4 p.m. at the detachment home, 1026 Providence Road, Secane. Due to the COVID-19 virus, this will be a drive thru only drop-off of toys and monetary donations. The Upper Darby Detachment, thanks to the efforts of coordinators Dave and Joan Maslo, and the support of members, and friends, has been able to help an average of 50 local families a year with toys and a holiday dinner. Those who cannot make the Dec. 6 drop-off date can donate toys at Burhill Hardware, 526 Burmont Road, Drexel Hill.
