We are excited for the September Zoom Book Club meeting! Join Upper Dublin and Byberry Friends Meeting on September 14th at 7PM to learn about the influence Horsham Friends Meeting and Quakers (in general) played in the storyline of "A Cord of Three Strands". From the publisher: ""A Cord of Three Strands" weaves fact and fiction into a captivating portrayal of Colonial-era Quaker life, including Friends’ roles in Pennsylvania Indian relations and in refuting slavery."... In this story, we learn about various members of the Alden, Lukens and Biddle families, as well as many other important Quakers of the time (Israel Pemberton, Anthony Benezet).
