We are so grateful for the challenging message we heard today from Evangelist Greg Hubbard about being a disciple that truly follows after Jesus. As important as it is to find your calling, what must come first and is far more important, is to receive, develop, and maintain a heart that burns after Jesus.

Every day, UVF students are equipped to be servants and leaders in the Church and in the world. Your generous support allows so many of our students to pursue God's calling on their lives. UVF is proud to participate in #GivingTuesday, an annual, worldwide day of charitable giving that takes place on December 1. All donations from Giving Tuesday will go toward student scholarships. Yesterday in chapel, we were encouraged by Polly Zupcic, Care Ministry Pastor at Christian Life Center! She spoke on God's love and what it means to be known by God. "To be disciples we need a revelation of God's love, recognize the calling of God's love, and continue to excel and abound more in God's love."

"Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, 'The Lord reigns!'" I Chronicles 16:31 No matter who holds political office in our nation, the Lord is on His throne. Today, may we rest and rejoice in the knowledge and security of God's sovereignty and goodness that are unchanged by the results of earthly elections.

We loved having Dan Greco, lead pastor of Lifetree Community Church, in chapel with us today! He spoke to us from the book of Hebrews about what it means to look forward in faith to a better thing. Faith changes the way we live by acquainting us with a hope that is better than anything we find on earth.

What a great message in chapel today from Pastor Chris Czuchra, lead pastor of Grace Assembly of God in Spring City. He challenged us today to follow Jesus for who He is, not what He can give us. It was a great reminder of Jesus’ words: Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it (Matthew 16:24-25).

Today in chapel, our small groups were encouraged by a word from Michael Luciano, Director of Outreach at Reach Out and Touch Prison Ministry and Managing Director at DWS Group, one of the world's leading asset managers. He spoke about how God used him in an unexpected way to minister to people in prison while serving as a Wall Street finance executive. God will equip you wherever He will send you
