#wip Over the past year we have been working closely with local artist Miguel Horn to help bring his large format public sculpture, Contrafuerte, to life! Miguel starts his process by sculpting a traditional figurative maquette out of clay before using laser technology to scan and convert the model into 3D vectors. From there the artist then breaks it down further into individually layered parts that when stacked and assembled, create these striking, pixelated figures. At Veyko, we've been working tirelessly through a stack of over (500) 1/2" thk aluminum plates, water jet cutting several plates per day for the artist. Polished Nickel Drawer Front Frames We’ve spent a great deal of time chasing this unicorn and refining our polishing process over the past several months. These frames require an extensive amount of hand polish and skill in every step of the process. Starting with pre-polished architectural bronze material, working through several steps of polishing, and finally returning to the plater for the final nickel electroplate coating. If the final finish is flawed we strip the frame and start all over again. Look for some installation photos in the near future. We are finally ready to go into scale production with these beauties! @ Veyko

It was such a cool opportunity to get to replicate some of the classic iron work of the Gramercy Neighborhood in NYC. We fabricated this custom security entrance to match the existing iron work originally constructed in 1846. Some of the details include a customized electronic call box enclosure, mortise lockset, and coping to match the original brownstone base detailing. Itching to get back to work, we are just trying to figure how to do it safely. Governor Wolf has reopened construction in Pennsylvania as of May 1 with OSHA and CDC restrictions which protect a worker's health. We intend to follow the restrictions and move toward creating a safe productive workplace. Our PM @taosssss ventured out this week to dimension some additional railings at a private residence in Princeton, NJ we completed in 2018. Wishing for everyone's health and well-being now more than ever. @ Princeton, New Jersey

Looking back on the Aesop Bishop Arts store we completed a few summers ago. Our hardworking team furnished and installed everything from the glass shelving unit, millwork package and even the custom, Donald Judd inspired sinks! We've done several jobs with Aesop, and both admire and appreciate their extremely unique, design based, branding approach. No two stores are alike.
