As I reflected back on MLK day of giving, I am reminded that for 20 years the Village Renaissance Faire has been an integral part of bringing arts, history and literature to life while providing affordable entertainment and raising needed funds for the VIllage Library of Wrightstown. I have always been but one part of this incredible grassroots community effort, by many people far more talented than I and for that I want to again THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS MADE THE VILLAGE RENAIS...SANCE FAIRE AN INCREDIBLE SUCCESS Village Library of Wrightstown Performers Volunteers Sponsors Attendees Press Merchants Demonstrators ...and so many more Everyone has made it a success by being the best ensemble group producing an event together, and one of the appreciative and involved audiences I ahv ever seen.

Over 20 years I have been blessed and humbled by the hundreds who have worked together to bring the Village Renaissance Faire to thousands every year. So many have enjoyed the faire because of the great sense of community effort which is required to bring the event to everyone year after year. The Village Library of Wrightstown is the host, sponsor and recipient of all proceeds, yes believe it or not despite our regional reputation and impressive scope, we are a volunteer ru...n faire. For now two decades, the Village Library of Wrightstown has led the way in bringing this event to all at a price affordable to all. It’s an incredible showing of what public libraries can do, public library’s importance to our community and what communities can do when they come together. The Faire has allowed the library to: Be open 7 days a week Offer weekly free children’s programming year round Offer free monthly community programs year round Expand teen programming Add 10-20 adult programs each year Offer the community 11 free museum passes Save the township and local taxpayers money
