On May 26th, Duck Donuts of Mechanicsburg and Hershey helped Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania (VROCP) with a first-time fundraiser. Donors were asked to purchase a dozen warm and delicious donuts and a portion of each sale was contributed to support the VROCP mission to the blind and visually impaired of Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Perry counties. No one is certain if anyone noticed, but Duck Donuts created a specially decorated pair of donuts for each boxed dozen. The pair were VROCP purple and meant to resemble eyeballs with yummy crushed cookie pupils. Based on the sales, if the math is correct, upwards of 168 individuals had a sweet treat and supported this vital non-profit organization. Thank you Duck Donuts, let’s do it again sometime!
