Who knows what "Vino Nello Estate" translates to? Don't forget to get your tickets for this event. The wine tasting will be held on Wednesday, July 14, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Loyalhanna Watershed Barn. Each sample will be served with an appetizer! Tickets can be purchased in the Chamber office daily. If you can't make it to the office, call 724-238-4200.... Credit cards, check, or cash is accepted.

On behalf of the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Amy Beitel has been selected as our new Executive Director, effective January 4, 2021. The Board of Directors is confident that Amy will provide the strong and capable leadership needed to navigate the Chamber through 2021 and beyond. Amy, in her role as Executive Director, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chamber and manage financial responsibilities and... membership maintenance and growth. We feel Amy’s previous experiences as an educational leader with Cambria-Rowe Business College and as a Community School Director and Field Manager at the Greater Johnstown Middle School provide the necessary leadership skills needed in the Chamber. Through her years of experience in higher education, she has been involved in coordinating events and programs with a diverse community of current and former learners. Amy received her Bachelor of Science Degree in English Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Until January 2021, Amy will be working on a part-time basis, familiarizing herself with the Chamber activities, and visiting our membership community. Going forward, we feel Amy, along with several volunteers, will increase the office efficiency and provide coverage on a full-time basis. Amy lives in Ligonier with her husband, Roger. They have two sons. Zachary is a sophomore at Washington & Jefferson College, and Nicholas is a high school junior. She enjoys watching her sons play sports, reading, and walking around our beautiful town. We are incredibly excited to bring Amy on board and have great expectations for the coming year! Due to many obstacles we unfortunately will be cancelling Fall into Ligonier- A Restaurant Tasting. Thank you for being patient with the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce through these uncertain times. We hope 2021 will be better than ever.
