It seems that members of Republican Party of Pennsylvania in the PA House and Senate will stop at nothing to inject Trumpism into our Commonwealth. They actively seek to subvert our democracy and the will of the people. This is why I am fighting for everyday Pennsylvanians. We deserve better. From working to inject politics into our justice system through judicial districts, attempting to amend the constitution to limit the governor's ability to act in a emergency, and undermining faith in our electoral process, these elected officials have proven they are corrupt. They don't care about moving PA forward, they care about power and appealing to the most despicable base in politics.

The GameStop phenomena proves that how well #wallstreet is doing is not an indication of how great our economy is at a given time. Want to really know how well our economy is doing? Look to working folks and families for the answer, we'd be happy to tell you. #mainstreet

Today I learned that a vote for anti-discrimination for the LGBTQ community was up in the #PAHouse. Every single House member from the Republican Party of Pennsylvania voted no. As someone who is gay and who has faced housing discrimination in the past, I am continously frustrated by representatives who claim everyone should be treated equal but never take action to do such. It is 2021 and these reps would rather appeal to hateful individuals than do what is right so that every Pennsylvanian is treated equally. During my call with PA State Rep. Gary Day, we had a conversation about this very issue and he seemed open and understanding. Why vote no then? Expect a letter from me on this as well. But I have to say thank you to Brian Sims for standing up for us and being a voice in the PA House.

The integrity and independence of our justice system in #Pennsylvania is at risk this year. Our legislators have a responsibility to ensure that partisan politics plays no role in how judges rule on the law or how they are placed on the bench. Judges represent the law not people after all. I oppose judicial districts and have written a letter to Representative Gary Day.

Four years ago today, I joined the Women's March with hundreds of thousands of women and activists to demand equality and to stand up against the bigotry of what was then a new administration. Four years later, I celebrate America inaugurating our first woman, first African American, and first person of South Asian descent Vice-President. We have made tremendous progress but we have so much more to do. #keepthefaith

I am so proud to now call you both President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris. Biden's speech reminded me of the civility we can have in our government, because the most important goal for all of us is serving the people and helping our nation grow. I was honored to have met Joe, I was honored to be on the same ticket in the 2020 election and I cannot understate how thrilled I am that they are serving our nation. #inauguration
