WSARC Board Elections - The WSARC board will have two open positions. These terms will begin in January of 2021 and will span four years. The positions that will be open for vote are the following: Membership Membership can be a very demanding position throughout the year. Some of the larger tasks of this position are: responding to new member inquiries in a timely manner, working in QuickBooks On-line to email members about payments, processing membership requests, proc...essing bond redemptions, giving tours of the grounds to new members, and tracking payments. Tennis As the WSARC Tennis Chair, you will be responsible to promote tennis and membership on the WSARC courts. The main responsibility is to contract with tennis pros for the summer session clinics and junior inter-club team. The chair will develop club programs and set up YourCourts to just name a few responsibilities. Fall and Spring team play also falls under the chair’s responsibilities. If you are a WSARC member and interested in serving in any of these positions, please submit your name and your qualifications to [email protected] with the phrase Board Elections in the subject line by Sunday, October 4th at 6pm.
Today we close the gates on the summer of 2020. Members, the WSARC Board and Managers would like to thank you for making a difficult situation enjoyable. Your patience and understanding is commendable. The pools success was due in large part to your compliance, following our Covid guidelines and using our live reservation app. Member & online reservation creator Bob Taylor summarized our pool usage, summer reservations. Here are the results: 8,920 total reservations, 28,70...0 total headcount. We managed these numbers safely through our dedicated staff who cleaned the property in between sessions and guarded our pools for patron safety. In closing, please enjoy photos from our final two sessions of the day. Here's hoping the pool and all our offerings and amenities can return to some normalcy for 2021! May you all remain well as we head into the fall season! Thank you again members for a successful summer of memories. Truly, The Board

Candace here, membership Board chair. I personally doubted this could be a successful summer. I stressed, worried, hoped and dreamed for normalcy. I just want to personally thank the best managers around (seriously, you are loved!), our staff (and their families), loyal Board members () and last, but certainly not least, the members who put ALL of your trust in us, regular people, neighbors, trying to do the very best we can. Was it perfect, no, nothing is, but we were open, we were vigilant and we are so very proud of what was accomplished working as a team, a community, for the greater good of all. Thank YOU WSARC! Summer 2020 will never be forgotten!!
