Can you help?? William Tennent Alumni is looking for the following: Collections and Memorabilia Committee... It is the mission of the WTAA to maintain a collection of objects and alumni memorabilia which will provide a historical record of student and school activities, preserving the history of William Tennent High School and Upper Southampton Warminster High School. The WTAA wishes to expand the material history of our school for future generations. We will be working to provide this collection in a secure location where it can be managed by WTAA committee members. The collection will be used for students, teachers, administrators and other academic and cultural institutions that wish to exhibit or research our school's history. The objects and archival materials in this collection will be available for loan for special exhibits within the district, alumni events, class reunions, etc. The Collections Committee is looking for people who have: An interest in history and historic preservation Proficient computer skills to assist with our collections database and record keeping Time to participate in committee meetings and special projects Great organizational skills Anyone interested in the committee please respond to [email protected]

Tony Judice, I know you and others are familiar with the Arnold Brothers postcards of Ivyland. I wonder if you have seen this image of the train station. It’s a...n RPPC by W. W. Miller, with a 1911 Ivyland postmark. The house recently bought by Kristofor DiRenzo is unfortunately obscured by the station, but others may recognize their homes. The platform where Santa used to meet the kids as shown in Moira Eitzen Haag’s home movie is along the tracks to the right of the station. The mill is shown in the distance at the far right. See more
