December Meals for Students in School Buildings To ensure that students have meals over the upcoming holiday break, additional meal pack bags will be coming ho...me with students in December. These are similar to the Weekend Meal Bags students have been receiving each Friday before boarding the bus. Every Friday in December the students will continue to receive the weekend meal pack with 2 free breakfasts and 2 free lunches. - 12/17 there will be 4 days of meals will be distributed - 12/18 there will be 2 days of meals for the normal weekend pack - 12/21 there will be 4 days of meals will be distributed - 12/22 there will be 4 days of meals will be distributed

December Meal Pickup Schedule for Virtual/Online Students The WCSD has prepared the schedule below as part of its efforts to continue meeting the nutritional ne...eds of our students. Due to ongoing changes at the state and federal levels, the district recommends checking the WCSD website and/or Facebook page to verify that the schedule hasn't changed in some way. Any questions should be directed to the Food Services office at 814-723-6900 ext 1602. Please Note: It is required that anyone picking up meals must follow CDC guidance by wearing a mask and social distancing. _____________________________________________ For Virtual and Online Parents December has a number of changes in the normal school day calendar. The meal pickup time for those receiving free breakfast and lunch is 10:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. at the designated cafeteria door OR meals will be available in the school office 10:30 am -1:00 p.m. - 12/2 Wednesday will be a 5-day breakfast and lunch pickup - 12/7 Monday will be a 3-day breakfast and lunch meal pickup - 12/9 Wednesday will be a 4-day breakfast and lunch pickup - 12/14 Monday will be a 3-day breakfast and lunch meal pickup - 12/16 Wednesday will be a 4-day breakfast and lunch pickup - 12/21 Monday will be a 5-day breakfast and lunch pickup Monday, 1/4/20, is the first day back from the holiday break and will be a 3-day breakfast and lunch meal pick up. In an effort to provide meals for students over the upcoming holiday break, if any virtual and/or online student would like to receive additional food, you may sign up to receive a 4-day pack on December 17th and a 5-day pack on December 22nd. All parents picking up meals will be asked if they would like this additional service. In the event there is a 2-hour delay on a pickup day, the normal pickup schedule will be followed. Please remember with the late bus arrivals to not arrive at the designated cafeteria door before 10:00 a.m. In the event that school is canceled on a pickup day, meals will be provided on the following school day. Anyone interested in more information, or in signing up for virtual student meals, should visit the WCSD home page, scroll to the bottom of the page under "News", and click on Providing Student Meals to Virtual Learners. You may also contact the Food Services office directly at 723-6900 ext. 1602.
