Today, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced the award of an $84,000 Community Conservation Partnerships Program grant to Cecil Township for the development of a trail connecting the Montour Trail to the Southpointe business park. The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is proud to have partnered with Crown Castle, the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency, the Montour Trail Council and Cecil Township in reviving this great community project. Phase I of the Southpointe Connector project will include the construction of approximately 1,930 feet of trail to connect the Montour Trail to Klinger Park at Reserve Drive.
