6 years ago today the Wesleyville Hose Company and the Borough of Wesleyville lost an amazing irreplaceable man Ronald Palmer. We all miss you "RP" you will never be forgotten.

MOVE OVER LAW Effective today whenever a driver is approaching any emergency vehicle or tow truck operating on the side of the road, the driver is mandated to move to the further lane away from the emergency responders/tow truck workers. If the driver is unable to move over, it is mandated that the driver slow to speeds at minimum of 20mph below the posted speed limit. Violating this law will result in a 500$ fine and two points on your license for the first offense, with... the fine doubling for each subsequent offense. Additionally, this law covers any disabled vehicle that is displaying any two of these three markings: Hazard Lights, Road Flares, or caution signs. As an organization we are confident in saying that responding to incidents on our highways is the most dangerous thing we do. Today at our monthly meeting we voted in three new probationary members & one auxiliary member. We would like to welcome probationary members David Fritz, Andrew Moore, Michael Hoopsick and auxiliary member Dave Lightner to the Wesleyville Hose Company family.

Today we placed Wesleyville Hose Co. grave markers and flags on the graves of several members who dedicated countless hours to the Wesleyville Hose Co. The idea for the grave markers came from Elwood "Al" Cole's daughter Shannon Cole Rieger who worked with Steve Samec and the committee Jeff Simpson & Missy Simpson from the Wesleyville Hose Co. to make this happen. Thank you Shannon for your help and thank you to all these members and their families who gave so much to the W...esleyville Hose Co. and the Wesleyville community over the years. 04/17/21 @ 02:15 Responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the 3000 blk of Shannon Rd. Squad 307 responded and upon arrival found one vehicle in the ditch with minor damage, EMS crew accessed the driver who then refused treatment. We are in need of volunteers. Our current membership is extremely low, if you live in or near Wesleyville and have fire, rescue or EMS experience please stop in on any Tuesday night and see if you can help us protect our community. If you don't have experience and are interested please stop in we will provide the training. Please help us help those in need we can't do it alone. Drills every Tuesday @ 7pm. Meeting 3rd Tuesday of the month @ 7pm.

ATTENTION: We only have 11 trees left to sell to make our 2020 annual fundraiser a sell out. To make this happen we will be opening up 2 hours early this coming Friday 12/11/2020. We will be open from 4pm till 10pm. If you haven't got your Christmas tree this year come and help support the Wesleyville Fire Department by purchasing your tree along with helping us have a sell out year. We are located at Denny's Service Center on Buffalo Rd across from Aaron's. And remember we are requiring the use of masks per CDC regulations.

We have 58 Christmas trees left to sell for our annual fundraiser. We are all ready for this weekend. Looks like mother nature is going to be nice to us this we...ekend with temps in the 40's. So perfect weekend to come get your tree. We will be open Friday from 6pm till 10pm. Saturday from 11am till 10pm. Sunday from 11am till 10pm.
