Hellebores aka "Lenten Rose", Blue Bells and Muscari aka "Grape Hyacinth". Blooming around the first tee now are Dicentra, more commonly know as Bleeding Hearts. They will be in bloom from now till early summer. Hello from the gardens! Last weeks big project was giving the Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight' around the first tee a well deserved haircut! If you have these hydrangeas they are a variety that can be pruned late winter/spring and still bloom on the current seasons growth. Hydrangea paniculata varieties can be grown as a small single trunk tree or multi branched shrubs like we have here. #springgardening #westchestergolfcountryclub #countryclubgardens #pruning #hydrangeas #limelight #chestercountypa
