Something has to be done about Route 70 and how dangerous the constant construction and dangerously shifting lanes has become. Route 70 seems to be constantly under construction and the narrowed and constantly shifting lanes are uneven and poorly marked. Once traffic opens up it is a racetrack of trucks and vehicles. More and more tragedies like this will take place until something is done. This needs addressed and people need to slow down. This tragedy has no doubtably affected and destroyed many lives. So sad.

The best part of our job is helping our clients regain their lives after a horrible accident, event or trauma. We can’t change the fact that they were injured by someone else’s negligence, but we can help then rebuild what they have lost. Here is a thank you to Chris Vallano in our office from one of his clients.

The Boy Scouts of America have established a compensation fund for the thousands of individuals that were victims of abuse through the years. As with the Catholic Church, a very small minority of sick individuals ruined the reputation of a great American organization and tradition. However, a thorough investigation uncovered that those at the top of the organization, not the local scout leaders, knew of the abuse and took steps to cover it up instead of publicly dealing wi...th the problem and protecting the innocent victims. This decision to hide the problem allowed the victimization to continue and prevented the injured from being helped. As many as 10,000 victims are expected to come forward by the Nov. 16 deadline. Since the Boy Scouts of America filed for bankruptcy in February the court has established a compensation fund where victims can file claims. Unfortunately, with Covid-19 and the elections coming in November, many will most likely miss this deadline. If you or a loved one has been the victim of abuse while engaged with the Boy Scouts of America, please call our office for a free consultation. We are only paid if we help you obtain compensation.
