We are excited to partner with the Wharton 22s to welcome Dr. Michael Kimmel to campus this Thursday, November 12 to discuss the topic "Why Should Men Support Gender Equality at Work?" Dr Kimmel is the author of "Angry White Men: American Masculinity at the End of an Era" and several other books that focus on men and masculinities. Other event co-sponsors included Return on Equality, Wharthogs Rugby, Out4Biz, Wharton Boxing, Wharton California Club, and the Wharton Work/Life ...Integration Project. Recently featured at TEDWomen 2015 where he delivered a talk on "Why Gender Equality is good for everyone men included", Dr. Kimmel is a tireless advocate of engaging men to support gender equality. In fact, he was recently called "the world's most prominent male feminist" in the Guardian newspaper in London. The event will take place in SHDH 351.There will be a talk and Q&A at noon followed by a meet-and-greet at 1 pm. A light lunch will be served.
