Congrats to Widener alum Phil Martelli on receiving the 2020-21 National Association of Basketball Coaches Guardians of the Game Award for Leadership!! Martelli has had a stellar coaching career, but did you know he was also a standout player at Widener? He graduated as the school's all-time leader in assists & remains 3rd on the career list. He led Widener to 2 NCAA Tourney appearances, and was a member of the coaching staff that guided Widener to the 1978 NCAA D3 championship game. Widener University Alumni
