This Saturday, April 3rd, Wild Goose Farm is offering the first in a series of two sessions from 10:30-11:30am on how to start your own Regenerative Climate Victory Garden. Just like the victory gardens of the 1950s, people all over the world are building regenerative climate victory gardens in their own backyards. The beauty of this method of growing is that you can grow an abundance of good nutritious food while giving back to the earth at the same time. For more information and to register go to wildgoosefarmpa.com.

If your child/teen is learning at home this fall, check out our webpage https://www.wildgoosefarmpa.com/fall for a few opportunities you may find helpful. I am facilitating outdoor learning activities, parent support circles and ways to provide effective feedback to the school district to improve the options available to our students. Connecting with each other is an important way we can stay healthy physically, emotionally and mentally as we head into the cooler months. I hope you can join us.

Of course, these extra efforts, and all the time spent figuring out what needs to happen, is a lot for all of us. We are hoping that...Continue reading

Food Forest Planting This Weekend

Lots of people are up for a campfire sing-along tomorrow and the weather looks fine so we will go ahead with the marshmallow roast at 6 and the singing at 7. Unfortunately, the barn dance afterward proved to be too late on a week night for most so we will have to cancel that part of the evening. Apologies to those who were looking forward to it. Brian Gockley has agreed to do two sets at the campfire, the first with songs especially for young people and the second from our ...songbook for those who would like to stay and sing together. If you haven't yet RSVP'd, please do so now. We do have sticks if you don't want to whittle your own. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight if you have one. Please park in the small field and along Keefer Rd unless you require special needs parking on the driveway. We look forward to seeing everybody. Love the K-G's
