Willow Creek Veterinary Center 01.12.2020

Miss Ruby asks that you take a moment to read a review of our COVID policy Some old rules, some new rules; but it’s all in the best interest of our staff and our clients’ health and safety! Please have a mask on at all times while interacting with our staff members! We now have numbered parking spaces. When calling to check-in for your appointment, to pick up meds, or to drop off lab samples, please pull in front of one of the numbers and give that number to our CSR’s.... During inclement weather, please help our staff by meeting them at the front door after you have called to check in. If you are picking up meds or if your pet is scheduled for surgery, head to the door immediately after calling in. If you are here with your pet for an appointment, the technician or CSR will let you know when they are ready for you. If you are dropping off a lab sample, please label the sample with your name and your pet’s name with the date and time of collection. Then place the sample in the white box located to the left of the Cat Side entrance. Please call and let us know your sample is there! Our staff is NOT permitted to enter your vehicle to retrieve your pet. Many animals instinctively become protective of their space and owners. For this reason, we ask that you get your pet out of your own vehicle. This is for the safety of the staff as well as your pet. Your dog MUST wear one of Willow Creek’s slip leads. We may or may not ask you to remove your leash. Using a slip lead is for your pet’s safety. All cats MUST be in a carrier. We are very proud of you for training your kitty to walk on a leash; however, a veterinary hospital can become a dangerous and scary place for a cat in an instant. Using a carrier is for the safety of your pet. Unfortunately, we cannot allow any clients in the building to use our lavatory facilities. We are trying our best to keep our staff healthy by limiting exposure to the public as much as possible. There are nearby businesses that may allow you to use their restrooms if the need arises. We want to thank each and everyone of you for your understanding and for helping us stay healthy. With these protocols in place, we can continue to care for your beloved pets!
