The Borough of Wilson, along with our Celebration Committee, suffered a great loss over the weekend. Willy Keck, a long standing member of our committee, passed away this weekend unexpectedly. We wanted to take the time to express our deepest condolences to his family. Willy was past President & Treasurer of the Wilson Borough Lions Club, member of the Wilson Borough Centennial Committee, and served on the Wilson Borough Zoning Board. His selfless volunteering & hard work w...as infectious for those who had the opportunity to work with him. His contribution to our community will be sorely missed. We ask that you keep Willy and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., PA. A Service will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Willy to the Wilson Borough Lions Club, C/O Paul Corriere, 25 N. Wright St., Easton, PA 18042.

Santa reached out to us today to make sure we are aware that he will be arriving in Wilson Borough on Saturday, December 19th. He knows that we are currently ...in a pandemic with the Covid-19, however, he wants to spread a little cheer to everyone. Hopefully, this will put smiles on kids of all ages! SO.....be on the lookout for Santa, riding around Wilson Borough from 10 am - 4 pm that Saturday. Please note that due to the current pandemic, Santa will not be able to come off of the firetruck to visit with anyone. We just want to make sure everyone remains safe, Santa included.

2020 Virtual Tree Lighting

We've received messages about the state of our centennial celebration slated for this summer. At the current state of affairs, we've talked about it in great detail with our committee, the county, and taken direction from how others are handling it around the state. Also, we had to make sure our current musical acts, vendors, and ride company would be able to move their schedules so we could provide the same level of fun as the event was scheduled to be. We've decided to resc...hedule the celebration for October 15-17, 2020. Our hope is by then, we can get a true celebration of the Borough's history and future. We have added our centennial parade, which is rescheduled for October 18, 2020. We understand that an increase in COVID-19 cases is a possible prediction for this fall. We will monitor state and local guidelines and directives and adjust dates and activities, if necessary.
