Toe up sock class: Marianne Shower will also teach this class. The 2 day class will be Thursday October 29 and November 19 both classes are from 2 to 4 PM. The cost will be $35.00. Sequence Knitted Hat Class: Join us Thurs. October 15 from 2 to 4 to learn how to knit a hat using the sequence knitting method. Certified teacher and award winning knitter Mary Anne Showers will be leading the class. Each knitter will select one sequence of stitches to be repeated over and over to create the hat. The cost of the class is $35 plus the cost of the yarn and needles. Yaarn must be purchased at Yarn Knitch. To sign up call (814-310-2156) or stop by the shop.

Join us for an online Knit Along! We are using the Knit Purl Hunter Audition Shawl. Audition is separated into sections of different stitches that are easy enough for advanced beginners but interesting enough for even the most seasoned knitter. It is an asymmetrical shawl that measures approx. 16" wide (at the widest point) and 67" long. There are 8 sections and we will be working one section per week. Each Wednesday starting June 17th we will email tips and pictures fo...r the upcoming section. The Audition Shawl uses one skein of Simplicity Spray and two skeins of Simplicity in the same color (feel free to use two different colors if you like) and a size 7 circular needle in at least a 24" length.
