Thank you to everyone who continued your appointments, shopped small, purchased gift certificates, or just stopped by to check in! It warms my heart to see this wonderful community of customers and clients continue to grow year after year. Amazing people who have included massage, herbalism, yoga, reiki, meditation, and personal empowerment into their... daily self care and lives. 6 years ago when I began this journey to completly changing my life, my career, jumping into the unknown, ignoring negative reactions, listening to my intution, understanding that you have the will to change a sitituation if it no longer serves..well I could have never ever imagined how amazing that would truly be and what was to come. This year has rocked us in so many ways but for me, I mostly feel grateful. Grateful that I get to do a "job" that allows me to reach out to others, to listen, to help when I can, to offer a quiet respite, and to hold sacred space That so many people have allowed me, and YHL to become a part of their wellness care routine. Enjoying some much needed slow time off this week with my family! We have been enjoying the quiet time laying around watching tv, snacking on all the things, and not paying attention to the clock. Sometimes not doing anything for a few days is just as important as staying busy.Allowing the breeze to blow througb your body, mind, and soul. Creating space for fresh new ideas, new downloads, new opportunities, and new perspectives As a society we live in this constant do mo...re, push harder, stay connected, work more, give more mind set and world. We are constantly "bored" and enough is never enough. And well that can be exhuasting..no it is exhusting. We go to bed with our phones so we dont miss calls and texts. Well except me because once I stopped selling real estate full time years ago I turned off the ringer and never looked back. Ive heard more then once WHY do you have a phone if your not going to answer it!? If 2020 has taught us anything it is that if we slow down, pause, and breathe our world will not stop. If we give ourselves the space to not only enjoy our successful moments but to enjoy the quiet nourishing moments our chi, pranayama, life force will actually grow Its ok to be connected but its also ok to disconnectfind your balance know your body. Happy sunday! What a beautiful day!! Just a couple updates Yoga classes, meditations, and all workshops have been postponed until the New Year We love our students, classes and workshops but feel it is best to pause our group practices just for now... but ...thankfully the secret to yoga and meditation..the secret to empowement..to loving yourself completely cannot be found in a class neccessarily..sometimes its the quiet retreat to self. How amazing would it be i...f during this time we use this practice at home to really connect within. To allow ourselves the space to be vulnerable on the mat so when we can resume group practice safely that our energy is that much stronger, that much more alive, and that YOU are that much more you! don't get me wrong there is not much more that I love then leading a yoga class and feeling the energy swirl around the room but I'm going to allow my self the space to appreciate my home practice that much more!!
