YNC Construction, Your Next Contractor is a fast growing construction company doing business in the Greater Altoona, PA area. We are currently looking for talented construction professionals to join our team in all phases of residential/ commercial remodeling. Both full time and part time positions are available. Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of basic math skills. Proficient with basic hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawing and chart...s. Proficient in at least one of the following areas: heavy equipment operating (skid steer/ mini excavator), framing, drywall, plaster, light electrical and plumbing work, finish trim and cabinet installation, ceramic and stone tile, hardwood flooring, painting, siding. Desired Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of building maintenance. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. At least 3 years of carpentry experience with a reputable contractor is strongly desired but not required. Ability to contribute as a team member to create a cooperative and positive work environment. Ability to work independently. Ability to problem solve. Attention to detail. Self starter. Job Benefits Full time 52-weeks per year with a growing business.
