One of our festival sponsors, Lancaster BBQ Supply, is hosting a brisket class on Saturday, October 17! This class will teach you everything you need to know to make the perfect brisket every time. In this class, you'll learn: Meat selection Trimming... Injecting Seasoning Timelines Cooking processes Methods for cooking on any grill Wood selection Slicing Common mistakes The class is $80 per student and will include instruction and sampling. Operation BBQ Relief is supporting those affected by Hurricane Laura in Lake Charles and Beaumont with over 20,000 thousand meals a day currently, but they need our help. The organization is seeking volunteers to sustain the inevitable increasing need for more meals and donations to provide alternative housing for those volunteering for the cause. Dave Pavone of the Pavone Brothers BBQ competition team is one of the many people using his time, skills, and good heart to help ...the community.
