Learn how to discuss a book together and help combat Summer slide of reading skills at our Monday Morning Book Clubs. July 12 thru August 16. Grades 1-3 will meet at 10 am and Grades 4-6 will meet from 11:15 am to Noon.

Challenge your family and friends! Part scavenger hunt, part escape room. A fun adventure for friends or families. Part scavenger hunt, part escape room. Plan about 2 hours or so, during Library open hours, sometime between July 23-August 7. Begin at the Library. $30 per team or $20 for an individual. The Zelienople Area Public Library joins nearly 16,000 public libraries and tens of thousands of readers across the United States in offering the latest Together We Read: US digital book club selection. From February 10 to 24, Zelie Library patrons can enjoy author Kate Clayborn’s witty romance ebook and audiobook, Love Lettering, for free with no waitlists or holds. Readers can access the digital book by downloading the Libby app or visiting https://lamb.overdrive.com/, and then participate in an online discussion.

Working with a tutor on Tutor.com is easy. Get started at www.tutor.com/newcld If you want to share a math problem you can simply take a picture of it with your device and upload it so that the tutor can see what you’re working on (click share file). The tutor can then talk you through how to solve the problem (just click Start Audio once you’re connected with a tutor). You can even share your screen with the tutor so they can see exactly what you are working on. If you especially like working with a tutor you can mark them as a favorite, so if they are available the next time you log-in you will be paired with them. A service provided by the New Castle District Library Centerwhich serves Armstrong, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties.
