SUNDAY MASS AND LIVESTREAM: Holy Cross will celebrate public Mass this Sunday, December 13, at 9:00 AM. Those who are elderly, high risk, or not feeling well should stay home. The obligation to attend Mass remains lifted. We will continue to livestream Mass to those who will not or cannot be here in person. Click on the following to join the Facebook livestream: https://www.facebook.com/Holy-Cross-Fairview-PA-104852077829870/. Thank you to the 69 parishioners and 3 visitor...s who attended Mass last weekend and wore their masks while in the building and thank you to the more nearly 270 who watched the Mass via Facebook. Music Music is printed in the bulletin and distributed to those who attend on site when you enter. If you are participating via Facebook, you can access the Bulletin by clicking on this link: www.parishesonline.com/find/holy-cross-catholic-church at the Holy Cross website. You can also find the Bulletin under About Us on the home page at holycrossfairview.org. Tech Details To view the bulletin and the Mass, you must open them on two separate tabs (parish website link for the bulletin and Facebook link for Mass). If the feed should freeze, close the page and start over. If you have trouble with sound, consider watching on a larger device, like an ipad, computer, or smart TV,. Using earbuds or headphones may also enhance the sound. Safety Protocols According to diocesan directives, a mask must be worn in the Church Building from the time you enter the building until you return to your vehicle. A volunteer will be in the Gathering Space to ask for your name for contact tracing purposes. Sanitize your hands at one of the sanitizing stations as you enter. Bulletins will be distributed as you enter. Ushers are stationed at the glass doors leading into the Worship space to guide you to available spaces. The Church is partitioned for purposes of safe distancing. If you let the usher know which section you want to sit in, he or she can help find an appropriate place. There is no formal offertory collection, a collection basket is available at the Baptismal Font. You may place your envelope there as you proceed to your seat. Restrooms in the Gathering Space will be accessible during Mass. Usher will direct you at Communion. In addition to the eucharistic minister, another is nearby with hand sanitizer should the minister inadvertently touch hands will distributing communion. It is not necessary for you to take Communion and then stop to be sanitized. After the Sending Forth at Mass, please exit the building and go directly to your vehicle and leave. Your patience, understanding and cooperation are deeply appreciated
