Although we are in strange times with the imposed restrictions in our industry . It is amazing to get stories from our customers that make it all worth it to be in business. Amazing to see life starting to return to some normalcy and would like to congratulate Megan & Jonathan , enjoy a life full of happiness together . Story below.. In July of 2019, we stopped by with my father-in-law to have a few drinks and buy a bottle of whiskey for a toast for our wedding (originally p...lanned for June 2020). There's a southern tradition that says if you bury a bottle of bourbon (or in our case, whiskey) upside down at the site of your wedding a month before the day, you will have good weather for your celebration. Since we were planning our wedding in New Orleans, which is where I'm from, in the summer- we knew we'd need all of the good weather help we could get! Jonathan, my now husband, is from Bensalem, and once my father-in-law brought us to 1675, we knew we had to use the whiskey we got for the toast. 2020 happened and we had to move our wedding to September, aka the middle and worst part of Hurricane Season (in New Orleans we usually try to plan around these things), but we knew we wanted to do whatever we could to make it happen! So we did, and luckily enough for us it was one of the only weekends during the month of September that New Orleans wasn't getting rain from a hurricane or tropical storm! I wanted to share some of the pictures from our toast with y'all and thank you for letting us have a little bit of Bensalem in the Big Easy for our wedding! . Cheers to the new married couple !
