This week our President, Mr. Thupten Choenyi la, and couple other representatives met with Pennsylvania U.S. Representative Mr. Scott Perry. Thank you Mr. Perry for this wonderful opportunity and hopefully we were able to shine some light into the cause of Tibet.

Tibetan Association of Philadelphia and our Sunday School would like to thank Ms. Tenzing Lhamo for her service at Tibetan Sunday School. Ms. Lhamo served as a volunteer instructor for the past two years and has helped our children in Tibetan language development. Thank you again for your wonderful service to our Tibetan community and we wish you well in your future endeavors.

Today we came to show support to Mr. Lobsang Jinpa, who is biking from Boston to Washington DC to spread awareness and gain support for the cause of Tibet. On behalf of Tibetans in Philadelphia thank you for your effort and we hope that you have a safe trip for the rest of the ride.

Tibetan Association of Philadelphia, along with 22 other groups, has received a $5000 grant each from Bartol Foundation. Tibetan Association of Philadelphia wishes His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama a very happy birthday. Due to the pandemic, we had to scale down our celebration yesterday as most people had to tune in through video call. Regardless of the hardship, we still celebrate our leader’s birthday and wish him a very happy long life

Today we celebrated His Holiness's birthday. In order to minimize the risk, we only invited few people and the rest joined the live zoom call. Thank you and Trunkar Tashi Delek!
