We are saddened to announce the death of Neva C. Ward, who went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2020. She passed peacefully in Meyersdale, PA at Rest Assured Living Center. She was surrounded by love in her last days with her family and the devoted staff at Rest Assured and Three Rivers Hospice. She was born August 1, 1937 in Titusville, PA to Otis T. We are saddened to announce the death of Donald C. Copeland, age 85, of Pleasantville, PA, died on Friday, November 6, 2020 at his home in Pleasantville (Harmony Twp., Forest County). He was born March 9, 1935 in Allegheny Twp., Venango County (near Pleasantville, PA), son of the late Raymond B. and Esther Rosella (Cummins) Copeland. On May 28, 1966 in Pleasantville at the Shamburg Christian Church of God he married Beverly Dale Copeland, who survives. Don gradua...ted from Tionesta High School in 1952 where he played Basketball. Over the course of his life he was employed by several companies including as a welder for Struthers Wells of Titusville, PA; General Electric of Erie, PA; Raynor Garage Door of Pittsburgh, PA; and as a well tender for Eagle Line of Pleasantville, where he retired from in 1991. Don served faithfully as a director on the Forest Area School Board for several years. He enjoyed reading, and loved to hunt. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his wife, surviving are a son, Raymond C. Copeland of Pleasantville and his girlfriend Edie. Two daughters, Regina K. Smith and her husband Terry of East Canton, Ohio. Ruth Sauerland and her husband James SR., of Titusville. Three grandsons. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Duane Copeland, and a sister Elizabeth Zambie. We are saddened to announce the death of Albert E. McKeel, Sr., age 66, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Lowber, PA, who died on Saturday evening, October 31, 2020 at Oil City Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Oil City, PA. He was born in Greensburg, PA on January 8, 1954, son of the late Walter and Lola Grace (Harvey) McKeel. Albert worked for Babich and Staller Construction in Pittsburgh for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lo...dge 1358 in Sutersville, PA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son, Albert E. McKeel, Jr. and his wife Heather of Tionesta, and his daughter, Heather Jo McKeel of West Newton, PA. Five grandchildren: Hanna, Cameron, and Jayden McKeel and Brittney and Ryan Peters. Three brothers: Walter McKeel of Irwin, PA; Pete McKeel and his wife Noreen of Herminie, PA; and Dallas McKeel of Arona, PA. His sister, Lohellen Spoonhour and her husband William of Arona. Several nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. All services held will be private. Burial will be at Starr Cemetery, Tionesta. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. We are saddened to announce the death of Mark A. Shupe, age 60, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Levittown, PA, died on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler, PA. He was born November 13, 1959 in Bristol, PA, son of Shirley J. (Pirhalla) Shupe who survives in Tionesta, and of the late Phillip J. Shupe Sr. Mark Served in the U.S. Army for 3 Years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Football fan. Locally he was previously employed by Long Acres ...Potato Farms of Tionesta, and Trader Horn of Clarion, PA. Mark enjoyed his cat Brownie who would follow him everywhere he would go. In addition to his mom surviving are four brothers, Phillip J. Shupe Jr. and his wife Mary Beth of Levittown; David R. Shupe of Tionesta; Blair R. Shupe of Terre Hill, PA; Kevin W. Shupe of Bensalem, PA. Two sisters, Loretta A. Dileo and her husband David of Yardley, PA; Shirley J. Corson of Sinking Spring, PA. We are saddened to announce the death of Thomas F. Banks, 65, most recently of Clarington, PA, formerly of Florida, and a son of Western PA, moved into the fall sky on Friday, October 2, 2020. For Thomas, life was an adventure. He loved the outdoors and found his heart among the beautiful mountains, trees and rivers of Western PA, where he spent his last days. Born on December 27th, 1954, in Philadelphia, PA, to Walter and Pat Banks, Thomas grew up on a farm just outside ...of LaJose, PA. After graduating from Curwensville HS class of 1972, he served his country in the United Air Force from 1972-1976. He then began what would become a long career in law enforcement first joining the North Carolina Highway Patrol, later serving as a deputy in the Indiana County Police Department, and later as a deputy and detective in the Monroe County Sheriff's Department in the Florida Keys. Thomas was preceded in death by his mother Patricia McIlwain, his father Walter Banks, and his brother Christopher Banks. He is survived by son Daniel Banks (wife Allyson), daughter Megan Banks, brother Steve Banks, sister Rosemary McGlynn (husband Denny), sister Claire Zovko (husband Joe), many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was a loving family man to his core, friend to all he knew, and will be deeply and profoundly missed by all who loved him. There will be no public visitation, all services will be private.
