Our vision is to see State College become a cultural destination that’s energized by local artists and innovative changemakers. And our community is certainly making that vision a reality! At 3 Dots we promote the local arts, cultivate innovative experiences, and offer an inclusive, welcoming community space in hopes to inspire a more vibrant community.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) hosted a webinar on January 14 to give a preliminary overview of the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program AKA SOS Act (Save Our Stages). Eligible organizations with a reduction in revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic will have the opportunity to receive up to a $10 million grant under the program. The webinar, the first in a series being offered by the SBA, provides introductory information about the grants, who can apply, how potential organizations can prepare, and additional details regarding eligibility and applications. You can view a recording of the webinar here:

Introducing our second December 2020 Awesome Grant recipient... George Macais of the Free Community Guitar Class. George has been doing this work on his own for much of 2020, but during the winter months we are thrilled to support him as he offers free classes indoors for kids in low-income families in our community. www.awesomefoundation.org//156395-free-community-guitar-cl
