Monday was full of activity for Youth Seed EnterprisePottstown! Of course garden work, then yoga with our friend, Pam, from Blue Zen, Wellness Collectivethank...s fir sharing your talent! Over lunch, we got a chance to share about the learning and activities of YSE with Ms. Carole from the Carole Landis Foundation! Thanks for supporting us and visiting! Finally, we wrapped up the day by making watermelon smoothies, popcorn and crepes (again!)...delicious!! We are grateful to all the community volunteers, sponsors, donors and funders who gave time, talent and/or treasure to make this program possible.

Things are moving along; never quite as quickly as one hopes. It's going to be lovely, and very well built.

520 Carpenter Lane Buyer Update: 10/31/17 Dear Buyers, Here is the current update for the project: On-site work: Skylights started to be installed... Soffits installed in units where HVAC duct work is complete Insulated metal siding is mostly complete Ground face CMU masonry veneer has started to be installed around the commercial section of the building HVAC work continues Electrical work in the mechanical room continues Sprinkler and Plumbing connections in the garage, lobby and basement continue 2nd and 3rd floor corridor floors were poured Rear staircase is in progress Overall Timeline: PECO has confirmed 12/5 to energize the building and install meters to units the following week. This means the earliest the whole building will have power is around 12/15. Given this, it will be extremely tough to have settlements before the end of the year. Also, the HVAC installation is taking longer than expected, which in turn drives when we can finish condos. At this point, we are looking at settling units in batches as they become ready, with all D, E, F, G units settling first between January 3rd-10th; 3H, 3B, 2A, 1B and 3A settling between January 17th-24th and remaining units between January 21st-February 7th.

Latest buyer update: On-site work: Stormwater and sewer connections to the street are nearly complete Lobby framing is underway and will be substantially complete this week Blocking for the walls of the lobby will commence on Monday... Sewer lateral piping will be installed under the garage next week Additional steel will be set in the garage area next week Timeline: There are no changes to the overall timeline since our last communication. We are on track to set concrete plank on June 12th and modular boxes on June 26th. See more
