Now is a great time to get your bike tuned-up, your suspension rebuilt or any other type of bike repair/maintenance before the busy season starts! Right now we are at about a 1-2 day turn around time.
Cannot wait until we have more of these going through the shop...We have only had one that we ordered for a customer and it did not disappoint!! https://design-innovation-award.com//giant-trance-x-advan/
Almost 10 years ago I got to help Randy McElwain out of the bay right beside bicentennial tower after swimming 32 miles from Longpoint Canada. Today he bought our only medium Yukon 2 and had it shipped to his house in Lake Orion, Michigan! Hopefully we get to ride soon buddy!!

Today, Lake Erie Cyclefest organizers announced their retirement and are actively seeking a new home for this popular cycling event. A complete announcement fol...lows: Erie, PA EmergyCare, WQLN and the YMCA of Greater Erie have chosen 2021 as their year to retire as the event organizers of the Lake Erie Cyclefest. When Lake Erie Cyclefest began back in the summer of 2017, its mission was a simple equation of good health, community and business through cycling. Over the last four years, that equation has served us well. Lake Erie Cyclefest, has encouraged thousands and thousands of people - all ages, shapes and sizes - to ride their bicycles to and around all corners of Erie County, said Tom New, President and CEO of WQLN. When our organizations were tapped by cycling enthusiasts and community leaders to create the Lake Erie Cyclefest, it was with the intent to establish a strong foundation and framework for the event and eventually spin it off to another like-minded organization(s). We feel this is an opportune year for that transition. Organizers used part of 2019 and most of 2020 to meet with organizations as potential event coordinators, but at this time, a new coordinator has not been identified. We are so proud of the Lake Erie Cyclefest and the collaborative relationship that our three organizations have shared to establish the Lake Erie Cyclefest as a community asset, said Tammy Roche, YMCA of Greater Erie VP of Financial Development & Marketing Communications. We will continue to seek a new home for the Lake Erie Cyclefest and fully support the organizers of the event with mentorship and resources. Event organizers stress that local municipal and neighborhood plans - Emerge 2040, Erie Refocused, Erie Downtown’s Master Plan, Bayfront Eastside Task Force and Our West Bayfront all prioritize transit- including bicycling as an integral component to Erie’s continued transformation. It was with this larger vision in mind, that the Lake Erie Cyclefest was developed as a platform for bicycling as a driver of community and economy. We’ve welcomed cyclists from all over the US and raised the profile of cycling to demonstrate that investments in bicycling infrastructure make good economic sense as a cost-effective way to enhance the Erie community, generate tourism and support business, said Karen Jakiel, Director of Community Development for EmergyCare. We are hopeful that the announcement of our retirement will stimulate interest among a new event coordinator or collaboration of coordinators to take this successful event to the next level. Interested organizations should contact Tammy Roche at (814), 566-9597.

It’s time for the unveiling of the toughest (or craziest) Highmark Quad participant of 2020.... MILT HUNT At the age of 82, he jumped into Erie Lake on 12/10/2...020 to complete his 100 yard swim. He said it was sunny out so not a bad day to get it done. A full story of Milt’s 2020 Highmark Quad adventure will be posted soon! @Chris A Hunt
