How about some dance facts in honor of the Super Bowl? Wait.....WHAT?!! Did you know that Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Fame players, Lynn Swann and Herschel W...alker, both studied ballet for many years? Some other famous athletes with dance training include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Jordan, Evander Holyfield, Barry Sanders, and Steve McLendon. There is even a documentary by dance legend, Gene Kelly, about how dance training helps athletes. You can find this video on YouTube and it features not only Mickey Mantle, but also, a scene where Sugar Ray Robinson tap dances with Kelly! Who said dance is just for girls? After all, doesn’t every NFL kicker need a great grand battlement? Have a great Sunday and enjoy the game!!!
