Support ACHIEVEability this Holiday Season As we come closer to the end of an unprecedented year, we think of the hope and possibilities that await us in the coming months and the New Year. With even more determination in 2020, we’re committed to making sure that the families we serve have the resources and support they need to enjoy a happy and healthy holiday season. With your help, we can do just that! Thanksgiving Drive Thanksgiving is a time for families to gather aroun...d the table, share a meal, spend time together and give thanks. This year's table may look a bit different to all of us due to COVID-19. For the families in West Philadelphia who are among the most vulnerable and hardest hit by the pandemic, celebrating Thanksgiving could pose a heavy financial burden. Join ACHIEVEability in providing meals to families in need. For 2020, our goal is to provide 150 meals to feed more than 600 people on Thanksgiving and we need your help! The price of a full Thanksgiving dinner for a family in need is $40. CLICK HERE TO GIVE NOW: https://bit.ly/3khWHSC and sponsor a family or multiple families and ensure they have a happy, healthy Thanksgiving. If you prefer to do the shopping yourself, please contact Matt at [email protected] or 215-748-8800 ext. 8826 by November 6 for more information. All donations and items must be received by ACHIEVEability at 21 S. 61st Street, Philadelphia no later than November 13 to ensure time to safely distribute the meals to families. Children's Holiday Gift Drive Every year, ACHIEVEability provides holiday gifts to children in West Philadelphia that would otherwise go without and this year will be no exception. Join us as we continue our tradition of bringing joy to families in need and spreading holiday cheer throughout our community. Our goal is to give over 300 gifts to children in West Philadelphia, and we can only do this with your help. Here's how it works: Signup to provide holiday gifts for those in need by December 6 by emailing Matt at [email protected]. Indicate how many children you wish to sponsor. We will send you a link to an Amazon wish list for each child you are sponsoring. Purchase a gift(s) totaling up to $50 for each child you sponsor, and wrap and label the gift(s). Click here to sign up for AmazonSmile and a portion of your purchase total will also be donated by Amazon to ACHIEVEability. Deliver all items to ACHIEVEability at 21 S. 61st Street, Philadelphia by December 13. If you ship the items directly to ACHIEVEability from Amazon, please include a gift note with your package, including your name and contact information, so we can properly thank you. Thank you for helping us make the holidays brighter for families in our community!
