Facing cancer is hard enough without the complications of a global pandemic. Your support ensures patients like Kira have 24/7 access to guidance, resources and support throughout their journey. "This is pain. This is grief. This is finding out my mom has a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer, while trying to navigate my side effects from chemo, while trying to accept my own future with cancer, while trying to hold the collective pain from a global pandemic, while try...ing to breathe. Donate now at cancer.org.

Two years ago today I was diagnosed with cancer. Two years of riding an Adrenalin high from surgery to surgery to surgery, appointment to appointment. Two years of sitting in anger and grief and working through every emotion. Two years of shattered confidence and building myself back up, finding things I enjoy doing and letting go of things I can no longer do. Two years of being loved. Thank you. I didn’t need a life change. But I do think breast cancer made me respect and a...dmire my body far more. Do I dare say that I think I even like my body now? I might even like myself! I could, however, go without having to explain to my daughter each week why I don’t have nipples! Here’s to many more years cancer free! Good morning, Don’t cop out. You crawled from the cancer to land on your feet. Are you crazy to want this? Even for a while.-Meg 1.8 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in 2020. Your #AmericanCancerSociety is here to help. Get support by visiting cancer.org or contact us at 1-800-227-2345.
