Do you know why we are called Adams Abstract Associates? Do you know what Abstract refers to in our name? According to my legal dictionary an abstract is a brief statement that contains the most important points of a long legal document or of several related legal papers.... We perform an abstract of every deed, from owner to owner. Each of these is a link in the chain of title. Why Adams? We are located in Adams County, HOWEVER, we perform real estate settlement services in all counties of Pa! Associates-Well...in 1978 when our business started, Linda Moose, my mother worked with Catherine Gerrald, my grandmother; thus the associates. Sounded better than Relatives! If you have any need for real estate services, please do not hesitate to contact us! Linda and I just back from the exciting PLTA (Pennsylvania Land Title Association) Annual Conference held in Gettysburg! Had fun, saw lots of old friends and didn’t have to travel far! Local continuing education credits! Waahhhoo! We did learn something too! What is the difference between a cemetery and a graveyard?... Stay tuned for the answer!
