Screaming with excitement at the top of our lungs, Kyrie and W.D, have both been adopted! They say there is a perfect family for every dog, and these two adoptions are proof that is true. WD came to us in 2017, a fearful shell of a dog who was scared to even look at people, her tail tucked, shaking in fear, with a low growl to warn us that she wasn’t comfortable. W.D’s foster mom dedicated 100% to working hard every single day to make W.D comfortable, show her love, and te...ach her how to trust people. The moment WD’s foster mom spoke to her new family, she knew they were the right family, they were dedicated, and they were determined. They didn’t rush the process, they drove back and forth from their homes to her foster home several times, spent countless hours at her foster home allowing WD to get used to them, and finally last Saturday it all paid off and W.D. went home. Kyrie joined ADBBR in 2016 as a puppy. Kyrie was adopted twice and returned. Kyrie spent countless weeks in boarding and training because we didn’t have an open foster home for him when he was returned. Kyrie’s only issue, he wants to be the only pet in the home, otherwise Kyrie is perfection. Kyrie’s family is perfect for him, he will be the center of their world, and that is what Kyrie deserves!! Congrats W.D and Congrats Kyrie, we are beyond thrilled!

Introducing Jasmine to ADBBR!!! This sweet, precious, tiny little girl is timid and shy but she’s slowly coming out of her shell. The shelter says she’s around 2 years old (but I believe she’s under a year... she’s very puppy-like and small). We are still allowing her to decompress but I do know she LOVES other dogs and is super sweet. She has shown no resource guarding or any concerning signs at this point. She’s still unsure of her surroundings but she’s learning. She act...ually laid on the couch last night with me for the first time! Jasmine will most likely need surgery on her eyes and we are still working on getting her fur back from the Demodex mange she had before the shelter but she will be available for adoption soon!
