African Violet Society of Philadelphia

Due to COVID-19, the African Violet Society of Philadelphia will not meet for the duration of the summer 2020. We hope to schedule meetings beginning the first Thursday in September, 2020. Our 2020 Show and Sale currently remains scheduled for Saturday, October 10. Stay tuned ... and Stay Safe!

Please join us at our next meeting Thursday, MARCH 5. This month the program will be about African Violet Species, the original beauties that spurred hybridizers to spin-off exciting variations. Membership is not required: all are welcome to the meeting (A pre-emptive note: April's meeting will be Tuesday, April 21 rather than our regular first Thursday.)

We meet on the first Thursday of each month from September through June. February's meeting is the 6th, flyer attached. This month our members who are judges will talk about how judges determine their ratings of African violets. Bring along a plant for discussion.
